Each Sunday the Middle School Youth (grades 7-8 or 6th graders who have completed confirmation) meet at 2:00 pm in the fellowship hall. They eat a snack, have a discussion/Bible lesson, and play some sort of game, like Whiffle Ball, Pass the Pigs, or Capture the Flag.
Each Sunday the High School Youth (grades 9-12) meet at 3:30pm in the fellowship hall. Following a snack, they have an in-depth Bible study, worship God through song, and play a game.
The youth have also attended special events like listening to speaker Josh McDowell about why the Bible is accurate and relevant in today's world.
In November, we have plans to go to
Pilgrimage,
a weekend gathering for Methodist youth in the North Carolina Conference. We also have plans to go on mission trips in Summer 2008.
